Cover Story
Van der Waals assembly provides us a novel design of nanocapillaries with precise dimensions and atomically smooth surfaces, which can be employed to investigate the transport behavior of various substances under extreme confinement, including water, ions, and gas. The cover shows that the procedure of those nanocapillary fabrications can be analogous to building with Lego on the atomic scale. The main picture on the cover blends Lego with graphene together artistically (See the article (No. 264601) by FengChao Wang et al.).
